An Amber Woody fragrance.
Inspired by Kilian Amber Oud, the fragrance has that golden light of vanilla bean absolute and benzoin resinoid from Laos wrap in a gourmand, luscious sweetness. Animalic castoreum absolute sits close to bakhoor–a feast unto itself–tempting with hints of black leather. Earth-bound cedar grounds the fragrance, revealing long-buried tales of rare and precious oud, used in perfumery for centuries. The amber is sweet and intoxicating, the vanilla of the best quality possible, the benzoin so alluring and sensational, the west Indian bay leaf so determinate and different from what was expected, the cedar so earthy, warm and inviting.
