Inspired by Le Labo Ambrette 9, It opens with citrusy herb goodness. The pepper is sharp and alluring and such a great dancing partner for the bergamot notes. It’s like being on a meadow between bergamot trees on a cool summer’s night. Ginger and wood enter the stage as the pepper fades out. The initial blast is primarily amber, with amalfi lemon playing a supporting role. The aldehydes and musk remain pretty strong throughout the life of the fragrance and into the dry down.
