A Oriental Floral fragrance
Inspired by Penhaligon’s Cairo, the fragrance opens with a punch of rich saffron overlaying some rose and aromatics, which include a touch of juniper, hence the cypriol oil accord in the notes pyramid. The mid note is a dry, greenish, rose and it is a wonderful example of how rose can work marvelously in a masculine fragrance. The base is the house amber with a little musk and some cedar in the very deep dry down. The eucalyptus periodically reemerges throughout the fragrance progression, keeping things interestingly lively.
