Inspired by Guerlain Samsara, the fragrance enwraps us in jasmine flower, which dominates the scent, before sunny ylang-ylang flower embellishes it, the better to unite it with the radiant and generous warmth of sandalwood. Lastly, iris, tonka bean and vanilla harmonize and render sublime this blend with its remarkable trail. sophisticated and sensual, but also beautiful, blending together rich florals but still making sure everything is underpinned by the intoxicating spices that make up the scent’s base notes. This is exactly the sort of oriental I adore. The perfume has an ever so slight sense of powder-like in the notes, which is mainly contained in the violet, but it’s not overwhelming.
